The Awards for Professionalism winners will be announced at Interop Las Vegas April 2008. The winners’ professional profiles and achievements are to be displayed as leading examples of professionalism.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - May 23, 2007 – A British designation is now recognized as an entry requirement for the international Certified Network Professional’s (CNP) program. The Network Professional Association announced today that network Information Technology (IT) practitioners who hold the Chartered IT Professional (CITP) designation now qualify for the CNP designation.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - May 21, 2007 – The Network Professional Association (NPA) recognizes six award winners as the Association completes its sixth annual Awards for Professionalism. The formal Awards ceremony will be held in the Mandalay J Room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel at the Interop Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. The awards program, in cooperation with Interop, honors awardees for outstanding achievements within the international network computing industry. Each award winner receives a specially designed personalized trophy.

This discussion will focus on Novell Linux as it applies to the Desktop environment and be presented by Karen Victory and Mark Richards of Novell, Inc.

February 24, 2005- COLUMBUS, OH - The Network Professional Association entered into agreement with Culminis, an affiliate of Microsoft, to become a Member Organization of the Culminis Alliance Program (CAP), which is a support program for IT User Groups to increase the recognition of IT Professionals in the workplace.
