January 21, 2004–  TUSTIN, CA – The Network Professional Association (NPA) today announced today the appointment of Canadian, Stephen Ibaraki, ISP, to the NPA Board of Directors. Mr. Ibaraki was the 2002 recipient of the NPA Career Achievement Award presented at NetWorld+ Interop, Las Vegas. According to the NPA executive director, Steve Delahunty, "Internationalism, membership service, and as a global voice for professionalism in the computing networking profession, that’s our strength. Stephen brings a rich history of international successes plus a deep background in business, computing, writing, teaching, and speaking, and proud membership with the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS), in joining our board.”

"We are always in favor of adding new members to our board that can bring varied experience and capabilities to our association," noted Delahunty.  "Stephen has been contributing to our organization and was an excellent fit for our board.  It is always excellent to find motivated and knowledgeable new members for our leadership."

“It’s an honor and privilege to serve with the board.
