NPA rebounds in the network community.

Welcome to the summary NPA Board of Directors Update Report. The NPA Board of Directors has a commitment to provide a real update of what is happening in Network Professional Association to our membership. Herein are some highlights. Please refer to your member page for more details.

The Board of Directors is a dedicated group of volunteer individuals continuing the daunting task of managing a volunteer association. Having enough volunteers to meet the needs of the Association is always a battle. Every board member is available for you to contact and comment. Contact us on the Director's page.

Effective February 15, 2004, Accent on Management (AOM) is the management company responsible for the day-to-day basic business activities of the Association - finances, budget, customer response, audits, strategic planning and guidance to the Board of Directors. AOM is committed to helping NPA prosper. Please update your records with our new Ohio address.

Microsoft Exchange events continue into 2004. NPA is ramping up for the Awards for Professionalism. Chapters are growing and NPA looks to starting new chapters in 2004.


What happened in last year in 2003?

  • The second annual "Awards for Professionalism", was held in conjunction with Networld+Interop. National Seminars provided a the top notch education of the day. Congratulations to the Award winners in 2003.

  • Members enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the rollout of Microsoft Server 2003, Office 2003, and Exchange 2003. With participation in regional, local and web cast events, the members received great technical information and software valued at more than $4000.
  • Doug Cooper Communications contracted in July 2002, resigned shortly after this web site was reconstructed.
  • Site Plugs, was contracted to provide this latest revision to the NPA web site.
  • NPA was selected by Microsoft as a founding member of the IT Pro Advisory Board and the subsequent organization chartered to bring better Microsoft benefit to member user groups and professional associations.
